Voter registration
scheduled in Pacoima PACOIMA — Southwest Voter Registration Education Project is
holding a voter registration drive at the Ritchie Valens Recreation Center. “We have seen recent attacks against the Latino community, exemplified by Propositions 187 and 209,” said Jose Luis Ramirez, a counselor at
Mission College who is coordinating the drive. Organizers hope to register 1,000 to 1,500 voters during Saturday’s drive, which will feature music and food and will run from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the center, 10736
