Richard D. Rodriguez named
Senior Vice President of Global Coatings division
of Reichold.
HISPANICVISTA - April 25,
2001 - Gary S. Krall, President and COO of
Reichhold, announced the appointment of Richard
D. Rodriguez as Senior Vice President, Global
Coatings effective May 1, 2001. In his new
position, Rodriguez serves as a member of Krall's
leadership team as Reichhold strategically
positions itself as a global company.
Rodriguez will oversee all
operations of Reichhold's coatings business.
Currently, the coatings business has operations
in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and
Austria.
"Richard's experience
and knowledge in the chemical industry and
coatings business make him the ideal candidate
for this position,'' said Krall. "He has
been with Reichhold 16 years, and during that
time he has consistently demonstrated the
leadership skills necessary to lead this kind of
effort.''
Rodriguez has held a number
of positions at Reichhold since 1985. Most
recently, he served as Vice President and General
Manager of Reichhold's North American Composites
Business Unit. Prior to this position, Rodriguez
served as Vice President/Team Leader for coatings
distribution and closed molding. He also had
previous roles in sales management and new
business development.
Before joining Reichhold,
Rodriguez was a testing engineer for Getty
Synthetic Fuels/Getty Oil in Los Angeles, Calif.
Rodriguez has served on the CFA Resin Management
Council and the Styrene Information and Research
Steering Committee (SIRC). He earned his MBA from
Loyola College in Baltimore and a B.A. in
Chemistry from Chico State University in Chico,
Calif.
